Winnifred K Lilienthal

Winnifred "Ruth" K. Lilienthal, age 77, of 1670 Moselem Springs Road, Hamburg, Richmond Township PA, died Wednesday, July 26, 2000 in her home. She was the wife of Paul F. Lilienthal. They were married 54 years on June 22nd.

Born in Pickering MO, she was the daughter of the late Charles A. and Alice (Witt) Knouse. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Kutztown, where she was past chairman of the stewardship committee and served on the church council. She attended the University of Minnesota. She was a United States Marine Corp veteran of WWII. She was past president of the League of Womens Voters, Easton; past chairman of the Kutztown Area Historical Society Holiday Festival, Kutztown; and, a volunteer at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center for over 20 years.

She is survived by her Husband; Daughter, Margaret A, wife of Stephen E. Broughall, Jr of Washington DC; Sons John M. Lilienthal of Highland MI and Peter F. Lilienthal of Orlando FL and 6 Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Monday at 10:30 AM in Trinity Lutheran Church, 357 West Main Street, Kutztown. Interment in Becker's St. Peters Cemetery, Molltown PA. Friends may call 9:30 AM until time of services in the church. Flowers may be sent or contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund of the Church or the Kutztown Area Historical Society, Normal Avenue and South Whiteoak Street. Kutztown, 19530.
