Winfield G Lease

Winfield G. Lease, Sr., 90, of Pine Street Breinigsville (Longswamp Twp., Berks County), died Friday, July 2, 2004, in the family residence. He was married to the late Josephine H. (Trygar) Lease who died November 24, 1998.

Born in Fleetwood, PA, he was a son of the late Charles P. and the late Effie (Heckman) Lease. He, along with his wife, were the owners and operators of the former Lower Longswamp Hotel, now The Blue Orchid Inn, Mertztown (Longswamp Twp.).

He is survived by Son, Winfield G. Lease, Jr. He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Lori L. Lease February 11, 1984.

Funeral Services are Wednesday, July 7, 2004, 10:30 AM from Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 East Weis Street, Topton. Interment in St. Paul’s Union Cemetery, Fleetwood. Friends may call Wednesday, 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM.
