Wilson H Rohrbach

Wilson H. Rohrbach, age 82, of 1135 State Street, Mertztown PA, died Saturday, November 24, 2001 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township PA. He was the Husband of Carrie E. (Hilbert) Rohrbach. The couple celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary this past May 10th.

Born in Oley Township, Berks County PA, he was the Son of the late Bryan M. and Mabel H. (Hoppes) Rohrbach. He was a Self Employed Farmer in Longswamp Township from 1944 until his retirement in 1981. He was a member of Saint Paul's Lutheran Church, Mertztown PA, where he formerly served on the Church Council for 15 years, and also was President of the Church Property Committee. He was currently a Member of the Board of Directors for the Longswamp Union Cemetery Association, Mertztown, and has been serving in that capacity for over six years. He was formerly a Township Supervisor, in Longswamp Township for 18 years.

He is survived by his Wife; Daughter, Shirley H. (Rohrbach) Solt of Mertztown PA Son, Ray H. Rohrbach of Mertztown PA and Roy H. Rohrbach of Mertztown PA; Sister, Arlene H. (Rohrbach) Savidge of Mertztown PA; Brothers, Allen H. Rohrbach of Breinigsville PA, Ralph H. Rohrbach of Wescoesville PA, Clarence H. Rohrbach, Mertztown PA and Earl H. Rohrbach of Breinigsville PA; 9 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren. He is predeceased in death by his Son, Franklin D. Rohrbach.

Funeral Services will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday, November 28, 2001 from Saint Paul's Lutheran Church, 500 Luther Drive, Mertztown. Family and Friends may call 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM Wednesday in the Church. Interment in Longswamp Union Cemetery, Mertztown. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., Topton PA.
