Wilson C Dunkelberger

Wilson C. Dunkelberger, 85, of Albany Township, died Saturday, April 9, 2011 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township where he was a patient since March 23, 2011. He was the husband of Marilyn M. (Zieber) Dunkelberger. They were married 62 years this past May.

Born in Douglas Township, Montgomery County, he was a son of the late Warren E. and Mary A. (Romig) Dunkelberger. He was a member of Kutztown Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He worked as a heavy equipment mechanic for several area firms, including his last employer, Jaindl Farms, Orefield, until his retirement in 1987.

He is survived by Wife, Daughter, Linda R. (Dunkelberger) wife of David K. Ellison, Kempton; Son, Gregory K. husband of Cathi J. (May) Dunkelberger, Kempton. Other survivors include Sisters, Dolores B. (Dunkelberger) Mills, Fleetwood and Jeanette M. (Dunkelberger) wife of Dale Wenner, Emmaus; Brother, Lawrence W. husband of Joan (Chrystal) Dunkelberger, Sacramento, CA; Grandchildren, Joseph J. Heatter, Peter D. Ellison, John M. Ellison, Joshua T. Coates and Chantelle N. Coates. He was predeceased by a Brother, Earl W. Dunkelberger and a Grandson, Richard S. Heatter.

Memorial Services are Saturday, April 23, 2011, 4:00 PM at Kutztown Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 671 Noble Street, Kutztown, 19530. Inurnment is private. There is no viewing.

The family requests contributions be made to Kutztown Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, in lieu of flowers. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
