William M Conrad

William M. Conrad, 93, of Rockland Township, died Thursday, November 8, 2012 in the Lutheran Home at Topton, where he was a patient one day. He was the husband of Edna M. (Weidner) Conrad, whom he married November 12, 1939.

Born in Lyon Station, he was a son of the late Adam B. and Mary E. (Dietrich) Conrad. Mr. Conrad was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving in World War II. He was a machinist, working for McConway & Torley Corporation, Kutztown Foundry Division for 28 years, retiring in 1985. He was a member of New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Fleetwood.

He is survived by Wife, Sons, Arlan W., husband of Norma K. (Hill) Conrad, Mertztown, Dale G. A., husband of Beverly A. (Barlet) Conrad, Fleetwood, Dennis L. Conrad, Fleetwood; Sisters, Daisy S. (Conrad) widow of T. Stuart Diener, Fleetwood and Mabel (Conrad) widow of Donald Schildt, Fleetwood. There are also 5 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services are Saturday, November 10, 2012, at 2:00 PM in Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, 19530. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Kutztown. Friends may call Saturday from 1:30 to 2:00 PM in the funeral home.
