William H Hausman

William H. Hausman, 77, of Kutztown, died Thursday, July 17, 2008 in his residence. He was the husband of Nancy A. (Gearhart) Hausman. They were married March 8, 1961.

Born in Boyertown, PA he was a son of the late Herbert J. and Helen D. (Reinert) Hausman. He was a member of Saint John’s Lutheran Church, Kutztown. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean conflict. He worked as a supervisor at Packaging Corporation of America, Trexlertown, for 30 years until his retirement in 1986. Mr. Hausman was a 1949 graduate of Kutztown Area High School. He was a former Little League Baseball coach for the Kutztown Youth Athletic League (KYAA), Kutztown during the late 1960’s and early 1970’s. He was an avid fast-pitch softball player, participating in several leagues in the area. He was a life member of Ray A. Master, Post #217, American Legion, Topton.

He is survived by Wife; Daughter, Debbie L. (Hausman) wife of Michael A. Fegely, Mertztown; Sons, Robert A. husband of Elsie K. (Wilson) Hausman, Deer Park, WA, Gary W. Hausman, Fleetwood, Gary L. husband of Roxanne (Neith) Hausman, Allentown, Thomas R. husband of Lynne (Wetzel) Hausman, Valley View, Schuylkill County, PA; Mark D. Hausman, Kutztown. In addition, there are 8 Grandchildren, Amy Beth (Hausman) wife of Shawn Koller, Tara Lynn Hausman, Christopher M. Hausman, Ashley L. Hausman, Jennifer M. Hausman, Twins, Jonathan M. and Alyssa L. Fegely, and Kristen J. Fegely. There are also 2 Great Grandchildren, Drew Nathaniel Koller and Kylee Rachel Koller.

Funeral Services are Tuesday, July 22, 2008, 10:30 a.m. from Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Interment with Military Honors provided by Ray A. Master, Post #217, American Legion, Topton, in Forest Hills Cemetery, Reiffton. Friends may call Tuesday, 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
