Born in West Reading, PA, he was a son of the late Charles W. and Grace V. (Amole) Coldren. He is a US Navy Veteran.

He is survived by Wife, Sons, Christopher W. Coldren, Reading, William H. Coldren, Jr., Norwood, PA; Daughters, Susan G. (Coldren) Martin, Reading, PA, Dawn M. Coldren, Blandon; Sister, Mary Ellen (Coldren) Kofrock, Mount Penn, PA; Brother, Robert C. Coldren, Norris, PA; 7 Grandchildren.
