William G Meitzler

William G. Meitzler, 88, of Kutztown, died Monday, February 8, 2010 in his residence.

Born in Emmaus, he was a son of the late Raymond T. and Laura A. (Bieber) Meitzler. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in World War II. He was the owner / operator of the former By-Mar Sportswear, Allentown, a manufacturer of children’s knitwear, for over 50 years, until his retirement in 1994.

He is survived by Daughters, Sandra R. (Meitzler) Brader, Priscilla R. (Meitzler) Bowersocks, both of Allentown, and Kylea R. (Meitzler) Sullivan, Bethlehem; Sons, David W. Meitzler, Allentown and William J. Meitzler, Allentown; Sister, Lorraine J. (Meitzler) Heinly, Emmaus. He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren.

Services are private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
