William B. Keim, Sr., 85, formerly of Oakhaven Road, Kutztown (Richmond Twp.), died Sunday, September 18, 2005, in Kutztown Manor, 120 Trexler Avenue, Kutztown, where he had been a resident since Sept. 16, 2003. He was married to the late Alice V. (Miller) Keim who died November 29, 1984.
Born in Maidencreek Township, he was the son of the late Charles E. and Ella N. (Gehret) Keim. He last worked as a courier for Kutztown Publishing Co. Kutztown for over 20 years; prior to that he was a farmer for over 15 years in Leesport. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII.
He is survived by Son, William B. Keim Jr. of Lenhartsville; Step Son, Barry L. Miller of Emmaus; Daughter, Darlene (Keim) Farr of Wescoesville; Step Daughter, Lillian M. (Miller) Moyer with whom he last resided; Brothers, Robert S. Keim of Kutztown, Dale R. Keim of Reading; Sisters, Dorothy L. (Keim) Turner of Mertztown, Rachael F. (Keim) Moyer of Fleetwood; 10 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren, 3 Step Grandchildren, 5 Step Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services are Wednesday, September 21, 2005 at 10:30 AM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Interment in New Bethel Zion Cemetery, Kutztown with military honors. Friends may call Wednesday, 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
