Wesley J Gunn

Wesley J. Gunn, 83, of Barnegat, NJ, formerly of Phillipsburg, NJ, died Saturday, November 7, 2015, in his residence with his wife of 18 years by his side. He was the husband of Patricia A. (Tettemer) whom he married January 21, 1997.

Born in Warren, NJ, he was a son of the late Roy and Rose (Servis) Gunn. Mr. Gunn honorably and faithfully served his country as a veteran of the US Army, having served during the Korean War. Wesley was employed by the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craft Workers Union, Local #4, New Jersey, over 50 years until his retirement in 1993. Wes enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors.

He is survived by Wife, Patricia; Sons, Wesley B. Gunn, Jr., Stewartsville, NJ and Daniel Gunn, Simpson, PA; Step children, Rose M. (Vazquez) Johnson, Macungie, Patricia A. Vazquez, Palmer Township, PA and Anson Tettemer, Sinking Spring. Other survivors include, 3 Brothers, Roy Gunn, Florida, Donald Gunn, Montrose, PA and David Gunn, Lebanon, NJ. There are also 5 Grandchildren, Stacy (Gunn) Fineman, Kimberly Gunn, Shannon Gunn, Matthew Gunn and Katelyn Gunn; 7 Step Grandchildren, Derek Vazquez, Amanda Williams, Michael Vazquez, Kevin Pool, Savanna Pool, Blaine Tettemer and Joey Tettemer. Wesley was predeceased by a Sister, Rose Gunn.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 13, 2015, at 11:00 AM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 25 East Weis Street, Topton, with the Reverends Richard & Linda Grill, officiating.  Interment in Longswamp Union Cemetery, Mertztown.  Friends may call Friday, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.
