Wayne A Guinther

Wayne A. Guinther, age 81, of Bowers Road, Mertztown PA, died Saturday, March 2, 2002 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, Allentown PA. He was the Husband of Erma B. (Reichert) Guinther. The couple celebrated their 61st Wedding Anniversary last October.

Born in Rockland Township PA, he was the son of the late John K. and Clara M. (Rader) Guinther. He was a Self-Employed Building Contractor from 1945 - 1973 for the former Wayne A. Guinther, Mertztown. He then worked for the former Met Ed, now GPU/Fist Energy, Reading PA, as a Cabinetmaker for 10 years, retiring in 1985. He was a Member of the New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Fleetwood PA. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, having served during World War II.

He is survived by his Wife; sons, Kerry W. Guinther of Fleetwood PA and David M. Guinther of Mertztown PA; sisters, Lottie E. (Guinther) Eck of Mertztown PA and Grace A. (Guinther) Reinhart of Fleetwood PA; 1 Granddaughter and 2 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services with Military Honors will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday, March 6, 2002 in the New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Fleetwood. Family and Friends may call 7:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday evening in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 East Weiss Street, Topton.
