Warren R Confer

Warren R. Confer, 81, of Topton, died Tuesday, July 17, 2012 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Patricia A. (Harpel) Confer. They were married June 26, 1954.

Born in Alburtis, he was a son of the late Warren H. and Miriam G. (Haas) Confer. Mr. Confer was a member of St. Peters United Church of Christ, Topton. He was employed by Coca Cola Co., Lehigh Valley Division, Bethlehem, for 42 years, retiring in 1995. Warren also worked ten years in the parts department of Becker Subaru, Allentown. He was also an assistant scout master for Boy Scout Troop 110, Topton, during the 1960s and 1970s.

He is survived by Wife of 58 years, Daughter, Susan J. Confer, fiancé of Dean E. Miller Grapeville, Westmoreland Co.; Son, Michael L. Confer, Northampton. Other survivors include Sisters, Margaret (Confer) Rohrbach, Shirley (Confer) Kramer, Mary (Confer) Fogelman, Marion (Confer) Hinnershitz, Dorothy (Confer) Keifer and Susan (Confer) Haberle; Brothers, Eugene Confer, William Confer, Robert Confer, Lloyd Confer, Donald Confer, Ronald Confer, Carl Confer, Richard Confer and David Confer. Warren was predeceased by a Sister, Janet (Confer) Pauley.

Memorial Services are Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 10:00 AM from St. Peters United Church of Christ, 122 West Franklin Street, Topton. Inurnment in Topton Union Cemetery, Topton. Friends may call from 9:00 to 10:00 AM in the church.
