Walter W Helbert Sr

Walter W. Herbert, Sr., age 82, of 689 Noble Street, Maxatwany Township, Kutztown PA, died Saturday, December 23, 2000 in his home. He was the Husband of Dora M. (Snyder) Helbert. The couple celebrated their 56th Anniversary this past July.

Born in Upper Macungie Township, Lehigh County PA, he was the Son of the late Samuel and Elizabeth (Miller) Helbert. He was a press operator for 34 years for the Caloric Corporation, at its former Topton plant before retiring in 1979.

He is survived by his Wife; Sons, David W. Helbert of Kempton PA, Walter W. Helbert, Jr. of Blandon PA and William A. Helbert of Reading PA; Daughters, Diane M. (Helbert) Adam of Topton PA and Sandra M. (Helbert) Kunkel of Lenhartsville PA; Sisters, Margaret Angstadt of Kutztown PA and Pauline A. Dairy of Karthaus PA; 6 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 28, 2000 at 10:30 AM from the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown PA. Interment in Zion Maxatawny Union Cemetery, Maxatawny PA. Friends may call Thursday 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Funeral Home.
