Walter J Seidel

Walter J. Seidel, Jr., 86, of Topton, died on Sunday, April 3, 2016 in The Lutheran Home at Topton.

Born in Maxatawny Township, he was a son of the late Walter J., Sr., and Myrtle L. (Bieber) Seidel. Mr. Seidel was a member of Zion's Union Church, Maxatawny. He was a self-employed farmer in the Village of Hancock (Longswamp Township), for many years.

Walter is survived by a Brother, Clair C. Seidel, Topton; Sister, Betty J. (Seidel) Faust, Breinigsville; and 15 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his Parents; Brothers, Arlan R. Seidel, Irwin T. Seidel, Gerald S. Seidel; and Sisters, Dorothy A. (Seidel) Masters and Sandra B. (Seidel) Schleicher.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at 11:00 AM in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 25 East Weis Street, Topton. Interment will follow in Zion Maxatawny Union Cemetery, Kutztown (Maxatawny Twp.) Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.

The family requests contributions be made in Walter's memory to Zion's Union Church Memorial Fund, 329 Church Road, Kutztown, PA  19530. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
