Virginia M. (Wessner) Yerger, 81, of Topton, died Sunday, January 17, 2010 in The Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the widow of Carl W. Yerger who died November 25, 1983.

Born in Kutztown, she was a daughter of the late James M. and Ellen C. (Ely) Wessner. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Topton. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by Daughter, Carol L. (Yerger) wife of Jeffrey C. Kressley, Mertztown, and a Son, James C. husband of Cathy L. (Sawyer) Yerger, Blandon. There are also 2 Grandsons, Bryan A. Kressley and Timothy A. Yerger.

Funeral Services are Thursday, January 21, 2010, 10:30 AM from Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 East Weis Street, Topton. Interment in Topton Union Cemetery, Topton. Friends may call Thursday, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
