Violet M Hafer

Violet M. Hafer, 85, of Kutztown, formerly of Fleetwood, died Sunday, June 2, 2013 in Kutztown Manor, Inc. She was the widow of Lewis E. Hafer who died November 24, 2008.

Born in Sunbury, Northumberland County, PA, she was a daughter of the late Raymond W. and Evelyn M. (Byerly) Trollinger. Mrs. Hafer was a member of Grace Evangelical Congregational Church, Kutztown. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by Daughter, Joanne M. (Hafer) Metzler, wife of Paul Button, Fleetwood; Son, Gary K. Hafer, Lehighton; Sisters, Shirley R. (Trollinger), wife of David D. Grim, Bowers, Lillie A. (Trollinger), wife of Albert V. Perna, Jr., Sterling, Wayne County, Beverly R. (Trollinger) Skipper, wife of Robert Seiverling, Bern Township; 3 Grandchildren, Robby Metzler, Kimberly Williams, Keith Hafer; and 3 Great Grandchildren.

Graveside services and inurnment will be held Friday, June 7, 2013 at 10:00 AM in Fairview Cemetery, 15170 Kutztown Road, Kutztown. There are no calling hours.
