Mrs. Verna I. Seidel

Verna I. (Schmoyer) Seidel, 95, of Richmond Township, passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 2, 2022 in her residence. She was the widow of Lee I. Seidel who died November 14, 2010.

Born in Breinigsville, Verna was a daughter of the late John D. and Ida V. (Smith) Seidel. She was a member of Zion Lehigh Lutheran Church, Alburtis, and was a homemaker. Verna enjoyed spending time at her home, whether it was cooking and baking in her kitchen, crocheting and sewing, or enjoying her dogs.

Verna is survived by a niece and two great-nephews. Along with her husband and parents, Verna was predeceased by several siblings.

A graveside funeral service to honor and celebrate Verna’s life and burial will be held on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. at Lehigh Zion Cemetery, 8269 Spring Creek Road, Alburtis, with The Reverend David Charles Smith officiating.
