Verna E Hoffmaster

Verna G. Hoffmaster, 85, of Topton, died Monday, July 22, 2013 in her residence. She was the widow of Russell H. Hoffmaster, who died May 29, 1998.

Born in Longswamp Township, she was a daughter of the late Harvey J. and Emma (Gambler) Lesher. Mrs. Hoffmaster was a member of Longswamp United Church of Christ, Mertztown. She was a homemaker. Verna enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by Sons, Barry L., husband of Diane L. Hoffmaster, Fleetwood, and Randy J., husband of Susan Hoffmaster, Castaic, CA; Grandchildren, Alex husband of Dawn Hoffmaster, Simi Valley, CA, Gwen wife of Praveen Chand, Eagleville, PA, Jill Hoffmaster, Fleetwood and Cory Hoffmaster, Castaic, CA. There are also 3 Great Grandchildren, Hayden, Sadie and Dylan. In addition, she is survived by several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend special thanks to niece Geraldine and her husband Paul Stoudt for their care of Verna.

Graveside services and inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family in Topton Union Cemetery, Topton. There are no calling hours.
