Valoris T Green

Valoris T. Green, 67, of High Road, Kutztown, died Thursday, November 13, 2003 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was married to Annie (Taylor) Green for 45 years last December.

Born in Lehighton, he was a son of the late Alvin R. and Mable S. (Steigerwalt) Green. He owned and operated the former Cleaver Inc., Palm, Montgomery County, from 1975 until retiring in 2001. Previously, he was an employee and before that he was a farmer in Maxatawny Township. He was a member of the HOBO's, a community service group formed during the Kutztown centennial, and was president in 1983. He was a member of the East Penn Fast-Pitch Softball League and a life member of the Kutztown Fire Company No.1.

He is survived by Wife; Sons, Darryl R. and Drew T., both at home, Derek J. of Lenhartsville; Daughters, Dori-Anne of Maxatawny Township, Dina I. Hartzell of North Whitehall Township, Diana C. Shook of Palmerton; Brothers, Asher of Maxatawny Township, Charles of Greenwich Township; Sisters, Betty Schrantz of Reading, Arlene Heffner of Auburn, Doris Bortz of Greenwich Township, Geraldine Heffner of Maxatawny Township, Janice Heffner of Saint Cloud, Fla.; 9 Grandchildren.

Funeral Services are Monday, November 17, 2003, 11:00 AM from Ziegel’s Union Church, 9990 Ziegel’s Church Road, Breinigsville. Interment, private at the convenience of the family in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Fleetwood, PA. Friends may call Sunday, 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, and Monday 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the Church.
