Tyrone W Kemp

Tyrone W. Kemp, 56, of 505 Cogswell Avenue, Solvay, NY 13209, formerly of Kutztown, died Saturday, December 31, 2005, in his residence.

Born in Reading, PA, he was the son of Joyce M. (Parker) Kemp, of Kutztown and the late Wayne T. Kemp. He worked as a painter for Painter’s Local #31, Syracuse, NY for over 15 years, last working in 1988. He was a Cub Scout Leader for several years in Solvay, NY. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam Era.

He is survived by Mother, Son, Michael R.Kemp, Solvay, NY; Sisters, Diane P. (Kemp) Young, Reading, PA, Laraine L. (Kemp) wife of Keith C. Wuchter, Kutztown, PA, Jane D. (Kemp) Hertzog, companion of Steven Geisinger, Breinigsville, PA; Brother, Darren R. Kemp, Kutztown, PA; Maternal Grandmother, Myrtle F. (Dietrich) Parker, Temple, PA.

Memorial Service is Saturday, January 14, 2006, at 10:30 AM from Saint Paul’s United Church of Christ, 47-51 South Whiteoak Street, Kutztown. Private inurnment with Military Honors in Fairview Cemetery, Kutztown (Maxatawny Twp.). There are no calling hours.

The family requests contributions be made to Syracuse Veteran’s Hospital, 800 Irving Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13210. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
