Todd C Evans

Todd C. Evans, 52, of Mertztown, died Friday, July 30, 2010, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, where he was a patient since July 28th. He was the husband of Linnie M. (Butcher) Evans. They were married August 27, 1983.

Born in West Reading, he was a son of the late Paul E. and Elizabeth E. (Clarke) Evans. He was a 1976 graduate of Fleetwood Area High School, Fleetwood. Todd was a member of Lyons Fire Company, Lyon Station, Ray A. Master Squadron 217 Sons of the American Legion, Topton, the Mertztown and Kutztown Rod & Gun Clubs. He worked as a truck driver for East Penn Manufacturing Company, Lyon Station, for over 8 years. Prior to that, he worked as a tank liner for Atlas Minerals & Chemical, Inc., Mertztown, for 21 years.

He is survived by Wife, Sister, Lee E. (Evans) wife of Charles Warne, Macungie; Twin Brother, Brynn D. Evans, Kutztown and Brother, Rhys M. husband of Shelly (Wessner) Evans, Blandon. There is also a Niece, Daron E. Warne.

Memorial Services are Tuesday, August 3, 2010, 2:00 PM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 25 East Weis Street, Topton. Inurnment is private at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Tuesday, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM in the funeral home.
