Timothy J. Snyder, 63, of Maxatawny Township, died Sunday, December 20, 2015, in his residence surrounded by his loving family following a courageous battle with cancer. He was the husband of Sherry L. (Frederic) Snyder, whom he married October 12, 1974.

Born in West Reading, he was a son of the late Lloyd J. and Hettie (Burgert) Snyder. Timothy was a 1972 graduate of Fleetwood High School, Fleetwood, and held memberships in Kutztown Rod & Gun Club and Pine Ridge Hunting Camp, Pike County. Tim was an avid outdoorsman and he loved to hunt. He was last employed over 23 years as a production worker by East Penn Manufacturing Company, Lyon Station.

In addition to his wife of 41 years, Sherry, survivors include 2 Sons, Troy T. husband of Jennifer L. (Steffy) Snyder, Blandon; and Brandon L. Snyder, Kutztown. Other survivors include a Sister, Debbie (Snyder) wife of Steve Bugera, Fleetwood; Brothers, Kenneth husband of Linda (Biehl) Snyder, Temple; David husband of Louise (Parent) Snyder, Vernon, NY; and Scott husband of Barbara (Levan) Snyder, Kutztown.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 26, 2015, at 11:00 AM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, with Reverend Dr. Robert C. Santucci, officiating. Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family.  Relatives and friends may call Saturday, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.

The family requests contributions be made to Pine Ridge Hunting Camp (checks payable to Jeffrey Kressley, Treasurer), 411 Freehall Street, Mertztown, PA 19539 or Lehigh Valley Hospice, 2166 S. 12th Street, Allentown, PA 18103. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
