Thomas J. Sutliff, 90, of Kutztown, died Friday, March 28, 2014 in Reading Hospital and Medical Center, West Reading. He was the widower of Mildred E. (Ceban) Sutliff, who died September 19, 2012.
Mr. Sutliff was a United States Army veteran serving in World War II. He was a self employed livestock farmer in Kutztown for over 65 years. Mr. Sutliff was a member of American Legion Post 724, Wind Gap. He enjoyed hunting in his younger years; riding mules with his daughter; and doing maintenance at his family farm with his son.
He is survived by Daughter, Jean L. Sutliff, wife of Russell J. Rhode, Lyon Station; Son, Leonard J., husband of Tina (Gehringer) Sutliff, Lenhartsville; Step-Son, Robert C., husband of Susan Zigenfuss, Kutztown; 5 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
Graveside services, and inurnment with military honors, will be private in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, with his nephew, Reverend Rodrick H. Sutliff officiating. There are no calling hours.
