T Stuart Diener

T. Stuart Diener, age 64, of 121 Conrad Road, Ruscombmanor Twp., Fleetwood PA, died Monday, November 20, 2000 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. PA. He was the husband of Daisy S. (Conrad) Diener The couple celebrated their 41st Anniversary on November 14th.

Born in Topton PA, he was the Son of the late Theodore S. and Florence E. (Braucher) Diener. He was employed as a delivery driver and general laborer for Kutztown Woodworking Company, Kutztown, for the past 6 years. Prior to that he worked for QuakerMaid Kitchens, at its former Leesport, PA Plant for 35 years as a Cabinetmaker and in the Shipping Department. He was a member of New Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Fleetwood, where he served on the Church Council, Property Committee. He also was serving as the Worthy Patron of Eastern Star, East Penn Chapter #336, Kutztown, he is a member and former officer of Huguenot Lodge # 377, F. & A.M., Kutztown. He was also a member of Pike Township Sportsman's Club, Oley PA; Kutztown Fire Company, Kutztown PA; Keystone Steam Fire Engine Company, No. 1, Boyertown; Train Collectors Association, Strasburg PA. He also was a Forest Fire Warden of Pennsylvania, serving Berks County since 1970. He served as the Fire Chief of the Lyons Volunteer Fire Company, Lyon Station PA for 10 years during the 1970's.

He is survived by his Wife; Step-Daughter, Darlene S. (Esterly), wife of Kerry L. Schildt of Fleetwood PA; 2 Step-Sons, Gene A. Esterly of Fleetwood PA and Bryan H. Esterly of Apex NC; 4 Step-Grandchildren and 4 Step-Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be Friday, November 24, 2000 at 10:30 AM from Ludwick Funeral Homess, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown PA. Interment in Hope Cemetery, Rockland Township, Dryville. Friends may call Friday 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Eastern Star Services at 10:00 AM.
