T Hugh Jarman Jr

T. Hugh Jarman, Jr., 77, formerly of Yardley, Bucks County, PA and Kinston, NC, died Friday, September 2, 2005, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp., near Allentown, where he was taken from the Lutheran Home at Topton. He was the husband of the late Doris M. (Moore) Jarman who died January 17, 1996.

Born in Kinston, NC, he was the son of the late Theophilus H. Jarman, Sr., and the late Nanny (Rhodes) Jarman. He last worked as a procurement purchasing manager at Trans America Delaval Company, Trenton, NJ for 17 years until his retirement in 1981; prior to that he was a purchasing agent for Westinghouse Nuclear Power Division, Cheswick, PA, from 1955 to 1967. He received a Bachelors Degree in Pre-Law from Wake Forest University, Winston-Salem, NC in 1951. He was a peacetime US Army Veteran. He was a member of the former National Minority Supplier Development Council, NY, NY. He was a member of Bucks County Rotary Club. He was a former president (1972) and member of Trenton Science and Engineering Fair, Trenton, NJ. He was a member of Yardley United Methodist Church, Yardley, PA (Bucks County).

He is survived by Son, T. Hugh Jarman, III, Mullica Hill, NJ; Daughters, Elizabeth R. (Jarman) wife of John Scott Wells, Spotsylvania, PA, Kathryn M. (Jarman) wife of Craig S. Weidner, Mertztown; 4 Grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at Pine Hill Cemetery, Burlington, NC at a later date. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
