Mrs. Susan E. Marburger

Susan E. (Rigg) Marburger, 77, of Dushore, PA, passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2023 in her residence. She was the loving wife of James T. Marburger.

Born in Reading, PA, Susan was a daughter of the late Wayne and Kathryn (Boyer) Rigg. She was a graduate of Wilson High School, West Lawn, and Reading Area Community College, where she received her associate degree in accounting. Susan was employed as an office manager by Richland Shoe Co.

She was an avid reader, who also enjoyed knitting, making jewelry, and photography.

Along with her husband James, Susan is survived by her daughter, Tammy L. (Marburger), wife of Roger C. Weidner, Lenhartsville; grandson, Russell C. Weidner, Lenhartsville; sister, Sharon (Rigg), wife of Kenneth Schlegel, Fleetwood; brother, Kerry, husband of Mary Rigg; and their families.

A graveside service to celebrate and honor Susan's life and burial will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Pleasant View Cemetery, 650 Fritztown Road, Sinking Spring, PA 19608.
