Stewart C Shoemaker

Stewart C. Shoemaker, 75, of State Street, Mertztown (Longswamp Twp.), died Friday, April 7, 2006, in the family residence. He was the husband of Mary Lou (Kuhns) Shoemaker. They were married July 3, 1954.

Born in Alburtis, Lehigh County, PA, he was the son of the late Robert and the late Minnie (Conrad) Shoemaker. He was employed as a laborer in the enamel department at Caloric Corporation at its former Topton facility, for over 43 years retiring in 1990. He was a member of Cedar United Church of Christ, Village of Cetronia, South Whitehall Twp., Lehigh County.

He is survived by Wife, Daughters, Nancy A. (Shoemaker) wife of William C. Hess, Fleetwood, Janet M. (Shoemaker) wife of Joseph B. Kepnach, Fleetwood; Son, Dean A. husband of Diane C. (Cosmos) Shoemaker, Alburtis Sisters, Geraldine F. (Shoemaker) Schmoyer, Kutztown, Fern J. (Shoemaker) Smith, Allentown, Nancy L. (Shoemaker) Kozak, Florida; Brothers, Denmar Shoemaker, Florida, Clyde Shoemaker, Delaware, Ronald Shoemaker, Macungie, Lehigh County; 8 Grandchildren. He was predeceased by a Son, Terry L. Shoemaker who died November 13, 1973.

Funeral Services are Tuesday, April 11, 2006, 10:30 AM from Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 East Weis Street, Topton. Interment in Cedar Church Cemetery, Cetronia. Friends may call Tuesday, 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM.
