Steven T. W. Chalmers, 60, of Millsboro, Delaware, died Monday, April 27, 2015 in the Inpatient Hospice Unit of Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown .

Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was a son of Matthew G. Chalmers, Fort Mill, SC, and the late Jean E. (McBeth) Chalmers. A carpenter, Steven owned and operated Chalmers Construction in Delaware .

He is survived by Father, Matthew; Son, Iain M. W. Chalmers, Alburtis; Daughter, Caroline (Chalmers) Bladon, Atlanta, GA; Sister, Julie A. (Chalmers), wife of Richard Umberger, Topton; Brothers, Stuart J., husband of Virginia K. (Buckham) Chalmers, Topton, Douglass S. Chalmers, Bechtelsville, Jason M., husband of Lina Chalmers, Waxhaw, NC, Brian T. Chalmers, Chester, England; and one Grandchild .

A service celebrating Steven's life will be held at a later date .
