Steven Carl Kressley, 56, of Blandon, died after a courageous battle with cancer, Monday, November 14, 2016, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Donna L. (Magill) Kressley. They were married November 19, 1988.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of Judith (Fenstermacher) Kressley, a resident at The Lutheran Home at Topton, and the late Carl Kressley. Steven was employed for over 37 years as a tow motor operator for East Penn Manufacturing Company, Lyon Station, last working in December of 2014, when his illness prevented him from working any longer. He was a graduate of Brandywine Heights High School, Topton, class of 1978.
In addition to his Wife of 27 years, Donna, and his Mother, Judith, Steven is survived by 2 Children, Lori L. (Dierolf) wife of Derek M. Novack, Fleetwood, and Todd A. Dierolf, companion of Ying Lian, Charlotte, NC. Other survivors include a Sister, Brenda C. (Kressley) wife of Joseph Fatzinger, Topton; and Brothers, Jeffrey C. husband of Carol (Yerger) Kressley, Topton, Ronald C. husband of Michelle (Cloutier) Kressley, New Tripoli, Russell C. husband of Carol (Derr) Kressley, Alburtis, and Ray C. husband of Bonnie (Krauss) Kressley, Mertztown. There are 4 Grandchildren, Skyeler A. and Savanah L. Dierolf; and Autumn L. and Aiden M. Novack.
At Steven's request, there will be no public services held.
The family requests contributions be made in memory of Steven to American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Avenue, Reading, PA 19605. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
