Stephen R Robinson

Rev. Stephen R. Robinson, 56, of Leesport died Wednesday, October 27, 2010 in his residence. He was the husband of Esther D. (Benjamin) Robinson.

Born September 4, 1954 to Ms. Daphne Bramble, San Fernando, Trinidad and the late Mr. Stephen Robinson, Jr., was a man unlike any other. His legacy is one of uncompromising service to Jesus Christ, unquenchable devotion to Christians around the world and an unwavering faith in the power of the living God. At 16 years old he was supernaturally called to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and he continued faithfully in his calling until his departure, serving as an assistant pastor to various churches, a pastor to the Restored Word Tabernacle for 22 years and to the Living Word Bride Church for 3 years. In total he devoted nearly 40 years of his life to the work of the Lord. The uniqueness of Rev. Robinson’s life lay in his ability to live the Message that he preached. Love was the foundation for all that he did. To his children he was the perfect father; a wonderful combination of pastor, friend, leader and role model. He did everything for his family and always kept Christ as the center of his home through his ministry, which touched Canada, the United States and the Caribbean. God worked signs and wonders and proved Himself to be the same yesterday, today and forever. Rev. Robinson began the final stage of his earthly journey with the passing of his lovely wife, Mrs. Patricia I. Robinson on September 29, 2007.

He is survived by Wife and Mother; Daughters, Rachel S. (Robinson) wife of David J. Samuel, Whitby, Ontario and Rissah M. (Robinson) wife of Timothy J. Wilson, New Ringgold; Son, Rev. Joseph P. husband of Lois L. (Beepathsingh) Robinson, Wyomissing. Other survivors include Brothers, Mario Robinson, Ivor Robinson; Sisters, Donna Robinson and Tiffany Robinson, all of Trinidad; also Grandchildren, Aschia, Acacia, Ethan, Seth, Shiloah Samuel and Ezekiel and Amber Grace Robinson. He was predeceased by a Sister, Stephaniee Carol Danglades and a grandson Elisha Samuel.

Funeral Services are Saturday, November 6, 2010, 11:00 AM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Interment in Schuylkill Haven Union Cemetery, Schuylkill Haven. Friends may call Saturday, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests contribution be made payable to Rev. Joseph P. Robinson for Living Word Bride Church, 921 Van Reed Road, Wyomissing, PA 19610. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
