Stanley W Bauman Jr

Stanley W. Bauman, Jr., 74, of E. Franklin St., Topton, died Friday, August 4, 2006, in the in-patient Hospice Unit of Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, where he was a patient since August 1 ^st . He was the widower of Anna M. (DeLong) Bauman who died December 24, 1994.

Born in Longswamp Township, Berks County, PA, he was a son of the late Stanley W., Sr., and Lala A. M. (Freeby) Bauman. He along with his wife, were the former owners of Stanley W. Bauman, Jr., General Contractors, Inc., Topton, for over 45 years. He last served as Chairman of the Board. He was a US Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of numerous clubs and associations including Ray A. Master, Post #217, American Legion, Topton; Kutztown Lions Club; Kutztown Fair Association Board of Directors; and he also was a former member of the Kutztown Area School Board.

He is survived by Sons, Stanley G. Bauman companion of Claudia M. DeLong, Mertztown, Todd A. Bauman, Kempton; Sister, Betty J. Karasek, Millsboro, DE. In addition he is survived by Grandchildren, Trevor L. DeLong, Travis W. DeLong, Cody L. Bauman, West H. Bauman, and Logan D. Bauman; and Great Grandchildren, Lauren A. DeLong, Katelyn E. DeLong, Ashley N. DeLong. Companion, Beth E. Wilberg.

Visitation with the family will be held Tuesday, August 8, 2006 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, August 15, 2006 at 10:30 AM from Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Inurnment with military honors in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Fleetwood. Friends may call one hour prior to the memorial service on August 15, 2006.

The family requests contributions to Lehigh Valley Hospice, 2166 S. 12 ^th Street, Allentown, PA 18103. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
