Solon R Krick

Solon R. Krick, 75, of 123 E. Washington St., Fleetwood, died Wednesday, October 15, 2003, in the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Lebanon, Lebanon County. He was married to Romane A. (Godfrey) Krick for 55 years in June.

Born in Ruscombmanor Township, Berks County, he was a son of the late Solon A. and Hettie (Dries) Krick. He was a cabinetmaker for the former Quakermaid Kitchens, Leesport, Berks County, for 36 years before retiring in 1996. . He was a member of Becker's St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Fleetwood. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Disable American Veterans Chapter 10, Reading. He was a member of Pike Township Sportsman's Association and the Lyons and Kutztown fire companies.

He is survived by Wife; Son, Bradley A. of Fleetwood; Daughters, Vicki L. of Cumru Township, Berks County, Loni E. of Muncy, Luzerne County; Sisters, Pauline Adam of Maxatawny Township, Evelyn Rothermel of Albany Township, Pa.

Funeral Services Saturday October 18, 2003 at 11:00 AM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Interment with Military Honors in Becker’s St. Peter’s Cemetery, Molltown. Friends may call Saturday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.

The family requests contributions to Becker’s St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 265 Maidencreek Road, Fleetwood, 19522. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
