Sidney F. Haring, 76, of Rockland Township, died Friday, July 12, 2024, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the widower of Susan J. (Feather) Haring, who died November 17, 2021, and whom he married November 19, 1996.
Born in Reading, Sidney was a son of the late Chester A. Haring, Jr. and Emma A. (Rollman) Haring, and was a graduate of Kutztown Area High School. Sidney was employed at the former Tyler Pipe, Co., Macungie, for 21 years until his retirement. He was a member of Saint Paul's United Church of Christ Church, Trexlertown.
Sidney was a member of the Topton Fire Company, enjoyed oil painting, being outdoors and was a die-hard Phillies fan. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, helping his grandchildren, and supporting them with all of their activities.
Sidney is survived by his three step-children, Crystal G. (Laky), wife of Michael Hillman, Kutztown, Nathan R. Laky, Topton, and Shawn F. Laky, husband of Hillary A. Unger, Rockland Township; two children, Jason Haring, Emmaus, and Jennifer Haring, Allentown; 10 grandchildren, Jordan E. Wilson, Miranda A. Elias, Kyree E. Hillman, Logan J. Laky, Shania A. Laky, Destany R. Laky, Chloe A. Kopicz, Jade H. Laky, Kristen F. Laky, and Maddysyn A. Laky.
He is also survived by his siblings, Cora Ellen Spare, Pottstown, Timothy Haring, Kutztown, Suzanne Azinger, Saltsburg, Christopher Haring, Oley, and Deborah Frederick, Severn, MD; and was predeceased by siblings, Denton Fenstermacher, Joseph Haring, Michael Haring, Manda Lou Haring, Allen Haring, and Neil Haring.
Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Wednesday evening July 17, 2024, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, Inc., 25 East Weis Street, Topton. Services and Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
