Shirley Potzman

Shirley Mae Potzman, 85, of Mertztown, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, in Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township. She was the widow of Albert O. Potzman, who died in 1970. She was also the companion of William J. Feather who died in 2020.

Born in Kutztown, Shirley was a daughter of the late Clarence L. Geisinger, Sr., and Anna M. (Oswald) Geisinger. Shirley spent her life in the warmth of her community, making a lasting impact on all those who had the privilege to know her. Shirley was a dedicated housecleaner, known for her impeccable work ethic and attention to detail. She enjoyed watching TV, doing word search puzzles, and loved the outdoors. For many years, Shirley enjoyed camping, especially at Bake Oven Knob and Blue Rocks Campground.

Shirley is survived by her three children, Lori A., widow of Keith A. Keiser, Sr., Kutztown, Tina M. Buchman, partner of Drew Morgenstern, Fleetwood; and Michael L., husband of Lisa Potzman, Mertztown; four grandchildren, Keith Keiser, Jr., Christopher Buchman, Jr., Melissa Smith and Holly Potzman; and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Roxie A. (Geisinger) Hilbert, Topton, Mary Jane (Geisinger) Miller, Reading, Loretta J. (Geisinger) Kuzan, Kutztown, Ruth S. (Geisinger) Seidel, Reading, and Merlyn L. Geisinger, Kutztown; and along with her husband and parents, was predeceased by her brother, Clarence L. Geisinger, Jr., and her sister, Evelyn G. (Geisinger) Moser.

Services for Shirley will be held privately.
