Mrs. Shirley M. Fogel

Shirley M. (Bauer) Fogel, 86, of Macungie, passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021 in The Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the widow of Francis E. Fogel, who died on April 13, 1988. Born in Alburtis, Shirley was a daughter of the late Clarence E. and Edna M. (Hoffman) Bauer.

Shirley was employed as an Assembler at Allen Organ Company, Macungie, for 42 years, until her retirement in 2001. She loved reading, shopping and going out to eat.

Shirley is survived by her brother, Clarence E., Jr., widower of Connie (Moyer) Bauer, Alburtis; nieces and nephews, Betty J. (Geist), wife of Richard D. Miller, Macungie, Cindy J. (Bauer), wife of Steven Grace, Alburtis, Timothy L., husband of Donna (Raudenbush) Bauer, Florida, and Peggy J. Bauer, Massachusetts.

In addition to her husband and parents, Shirley was predeceased by her sisters, Arlene M. (Bauer) Geist in 1992, Betty J. Bauer in 2019, and her maternal grandmother, Adeline M. (Conrad) Bauer.

A graveside service to celebrate Shirley's life will be held privately in Lehigh Zion Cemetery, Alburtis, PA.
