Shawn A Weaver

Shawn A. Weaver, 36, of Blandon, died Saturday, July 2, 2011 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp., after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. She was the wife of Mark D. Weaver. They were married June 26, 2003.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of Rickie A. and Sheree A. (Miller) Bieber, Mertztown. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Topton. Shawn was a 1992 graduate of Brandywine Heights High School, Topton, a 1996 graduate of Indiana University, Indiana, PA, receiving a bachelor degree in speech language pathology, and a graduate of LaSalle University, Philadelphia, receiving a master’s degree in speech language pathology. She was employed as a speech therapist by Muhlenberg Township School District, Laureldale, for 12 years, last working May 2011. Shawn enjoyed scrapbooking, swimming, mountain biking, spending time with friends and family, her dogs, Bella and Brewtus, and the light of her life, Katelyn.

She is survived by Husband, Parents, Daughter, Katelyn Jo Weaver, at home; Sister, Brooke L. (Bieber) wife of Joshua D. Coatsworth, Newmanstown, Lebanon Co.; Maternal Grandmother, Evelyn K. (Bauer) Miller, Kutztown, and Niece, Olivia M. Coatsworth.

Funeral Services are Friday, July 8, 2011 at 10:30 AM from Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Interment in Topton Union Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
