Ms. Sharon K. Witman

Sharon Kay (Sechler) Witman, 63, of Bernville, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 14, 2024 in Tower Health - Reading Hospital, West Reading, PA.

Born in Allentown, Sharon was a daughter of the late Irwin M. and Eleanor P. (Knabb) Sechler and was baptized at New Bethel Church in Kempton. Sharon was a 1978 graduate of Hamburg Area High School and was a member of Zion Blue Mountain United Church of Christ, Strausstown.

Sharon was employed as a Supervisor by Tray-Pak Corporation, Tuckerton, for 40 years, and worked in many other capacities throughout her career. Sharon enjoyed baseball and was a die-hard Philadelphia Phillies fan. She also took pride in mowing her grass and spending time with her golf cart buddy, her Mother. Above all, Sharon was a proud Mom to her son Trevor and was his biggest fan and cheerleader while he was playing hockey.

Along with her son, Trevor M. Witman of Birdsboro, Sharon is survived by her siblings, Scott I., husband of Monica L. (Bonetti), Sechler, Strausstown, Richard A. Sechler, partner of Dianna L. Styer, Barto, Sandra J. (Sechler), wife of John H. Gilmer, Wyomissing, and Brenda L. (Sechler), wife of Steven R. Hoffman, Shippensburg; nieces and nephews, Margo Wagner, Scott Sechler, Jr., Lynne Sechler, Victoria Risser, Hannah Olexa, Zachary Zweizig, Clinton Faust, Hilary Faust, and their families. Sharon is also survived by her special four-legged companion, Tucker, who she shared a very special bond with.

A funeral service to celebrate and honors Sharon's life will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes and Cremation Care, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, PA, with The Reverend James D. Myers officiating. Burial will follow in New Bethel Union Cemetery, Kempton, PA. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
