Scott Robert Reinhard, 54, of Auburn, died Thursday, September 18, 2008.
Born in Allentown, PA, he was the son of Robert and Pauline (Litschke) Reinhard of Blandon. Scott had recently moved to the borough of Auburn, but had lived in Macungie most of his life. Scott was a 1971 graduate of Brandywine Heights Area School District, Topton. After graduation, he joined the United States Navy, serving as a gunner’s mate on the USS Basilone during the Vietnam War. He was employed for almost thirty years by the Brandywine Heights Area School District. Scott was an avid outdoorsman. He especially enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and skiing. He was an active member of the Alburtis Rod and Gun Club and the Topton American Legion. Everyone who knew him loved him and he will be sorely missed by all who know him.
He is survived by Parents; Sisters, Heather J. (Reinhard), wife of Michael W. Fritz, Auburn, Theresa M. (Reinhard), wife of Joseph A. Woloszanski, Kutztown, Brother, Stephen F., husband of Deborah L. (Schoedler) Reinhard, Topton. In addition, there are 8 Nieces and Nephews as well as 3 Great Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Services are Tuesday, September 23, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. in Huff’s Union Church, 540 Conrad Road, Alburtis, PA 18011. Interment, with military honors by the Ray A. Master, Post #217, American Legion, Topton, will be in Huff’s Church Union Cemetery. A viewing will be held Monday evening, September 22, 2008, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM at the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, PA and Tuesday, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the church.
Flowers may be sent, or contributions can be made to Huff’s Union Church Capitol Improvement Fund, 540 Conrad Road, Alburtis, PA 18011. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
