Sarah A. Kite, 35, of Kutztown, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday November 25, 2022. After a long battle with cancer she is now in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Born in Bethlehem, PA, she was the daughter of Scott R. and Sherry C. (Snyder) Jurell, Mertztown. Sarah was the loving wife of Craig A. Kite with whom she celebrated their 9th wedding anniversary on May 4th. She was also a devoted mother to her children, Gideon, 8 years of age, and Lilliana, 6 years of age.
Sarah was a 2005 graduate of Salem Christian School, Macungie, and a 2009 graduate of Kutztown University. She was a member of Cornerstone Community Church, Kutztown.
Sarah always had tremendous love and compassion for others, especially the elderly, and as a result was an in-home health aide for several years. Leaving work to be a stay-at-home mother for her children, Sarah made an enormous impact on their lives teaching them every step of the way as their homeschool teacher. It brought joy to Sarah to provide her family with healthy cooking and introduce them to delicious new meals.
Sarah always demonstrated great talent in the arts, including drawing, photography, flower arranging, crafts and home décor. After college she created her own brand of jewelry, Revived Design, in which Sarah drew inspiration from modern vintage style. Many of her friends and family still enjoy these necklaces, bracelets and earrings and remember helping Sarah host shows.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, children, and parents, are brothers Stephen J. of Mertztown, and Seth D. (Alycia) Jurell of Allentown; maternal grandmother Sylvia A.
