Sandra R Miller-Grim

Sandra R. Miller-Grim, 71, of Kutztown, died Monday, May 25, 2009 at 12:49 AM in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, where she was a patient since May 18, 2009. She was the wife of Leon A. Grim. They were married May 30, 1998. Her first husband, Levi G. Miller died July 15, 1990.

Born in Berks County, she was a daughter of Mary (Drey) Bauer, Macungie and the late Charles Bauer. She was a member of the Lutheran congregation of Saint Peter’s Lutheran Church, Macungie. She worked for many years as an assembler at the former Boyertown Burial Casket Company until the plant closure in 1988. After that she worked as a cashier at the former Doe Mountain Ski Resort, now BearCreek Resort, Longswamp Township, and in the same capacity at Weis Markets, Kutztown.

She is survived by Husband, Mother, Sons, Chris A. Miller, Mertztown, Jamie L. husband of Sharon K. (Angstadt) Miller, Mertztown; Step Daughter, Betty A. (Grim) wife of Mark E. Stump, Fleetwood; Daughter-in-law, Debra J. (Wittman) widow of predeceased Son, Glenn L. Miller who died March 4, 2003. There are 10 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandson. In addition, there are 2 Sisters, Veronica (Boyer) Schuller and Joan (Boyer) Hildenbrand, both of Pennsburg; 4 Brothers, Doug Boyer, Macungie, Larry Boyer, Pottstown, Charles “Sonny” Boyer, Alburtis, and Linwood Bauer, Alburtis.

Memorial Services are Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. from Ludwick Funeral Home, 25 East Weis Street, Topton. Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Wednesday, 2:00 to 3:00 PM in the funeral home. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
