Sandra M Kunkel

Sandra M. Kunkel, age 55, of 96 Penn Street, Lenhartsville PA, died Sunday, February 03, 2002 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center, West Reading PA. She was the Wife of Mayor Richard K. Kunkel of Lenhartsville. The couple celebrated their 9th Wedding Anniversary last October.

Born in Allentown PA, she was the Daughter of Dora M. (Snyder) Helbert of Kutztown PA and the late Walter W. Helbert. She was the Head Cashier at Crystal Cave, Kutztown, for the past 13 years, retiring in 2001. She was of the Protestant Faith.

She is survived by her Husband and Mother; Daughter, Lori A. (Burkert) Cutlip of Kutztown PA; Step-Son, Richard K. Kunkel, Jr. of Lenhartsville PA; Brothers, David W. Helbert of Kempton PA, Walter W. Helbert Jr. of Blandon PA and William A. Helbert of Reading PA; Sister, Diane (Helbert) Adam of Topton PA; and 5 Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held 10:30 AM Thursday, February 7, 2002 from the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Family and Friends may call 7:00 to 8:30 PM Wednesday evening in the Funeral Home. Interment in New Bethel Cemetery, Kempton PA.
