Sandra L Pensinger

Sandra L. (Reifinger) Pensinger, 75, of Rockland Township, died on Wednesday, June 28, 2017, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the widow of Dale A. Pensinger, who died February 8, 2002.

Born in Topton, she was a daughter of the late Llyod W. H. and Lois J. (Fisher) Reifinger. Mrs. Pensinger was a member of Saint Peter's United Church of Christ, Topton. Sandy was a graduate of Kutztown Area High School, class of 1959. Sandra and her late husband, Dale, owned and operated Pensinger's Garage, Lyon Station, for 33 years until Dale's retirement in 1996. Sandra went on to work at Tarsus, Fleetwood, for ten additional years. Prior to working with her husband Sandra worked at Atlas Minerals & Chemicals, Mertztown. Mrs. Pensinger was a member of Lyons Fire Company and its Ladies Auxiliary. She also was a member of Lyons Fire Company Fire Police for many years. Sandy enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Phillies, shopping on QVC and working in her flower garden.

Sandra is survived by her Sons, Keith L. husband of Christine L. (Hilbert) Pensinger, Blandon; and Kyle R. husband of Lori M. (Olsovsky) Pensinger, Kutztown. Other survivors include a Sister, Barbara (Reifinger) Kauffman widow of Nevin Arndt, Lady Smith, VA and Raynold husband of June (Shoemaker) Reifinger, Allentown. There is a Grandson, Wyatt K. Pensinger and 2 Step Grandsons, Jon-Luc Tews and Andy R. Tews. Sandra was predeceased by a Sister, Shirley L. Findlay.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 10:30 AM from Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, with Reverend Roger M. Ulrich, officiating. Inurnment in Topton Union Cemetery, Topton. Friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home.
