Salvatore G Alaimo

Salvatore Guiseppe Alaimo, 18, of Greenwich Township, died Wednesday, June 23, 2010, in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes, DE after collapsing from heart failure due to heart murmur. He was vacationing for senior week, with seven close friends and one set of their parents, Mr. & Mrs. Gottlund in Rehoboth Beach, DE.

Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of Rosario ‘Ross’ and Antonia (Liotta) Alaimo, with whom he resided. He graduated last Tuesday from Kutztown Area High School, Kutztown. He planned to further his education beginning this fall at Saint Joseph University, Philadelphia. He is survived by Parents, Sisters, Maria Rita Alaimo, Emmanuela A. Alaimo and a Brother, Antonio G. Alaimo, all at home. There is also his Maternal Grandmother, Calogera Zaffuto, Sicily, Italy and his Paternal Grandmother, Maria (Sferrazza) Alaimo, at home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 10:00 AM from Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 14833 Kutztown Road, Kutztown; entombment in Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum, Laureldale. Friends may call Monday evening, from 6:00 to 8:30 PM and Tuesday morning, from 9:00 to 10:00 AM in the church. Vigil and Memorial Services are Monday at 8:00 PM.
