Ruth T Moncrief

Ruth T. Moncrief, 90, died June 30, 2015, in Kutztown, Pennsylvania. She was born on July 12, 1924 in Bronderslev, Denmark to Niels Ejner and Christa Kornum Jensen. She was a member of McKenzie First United Methodist Church, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Hospital Auxiliary at McKenzie Regional Hospital, UM Women and the Teddies Group. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands James Totten and Lewis Edward Moncrief, and a step-daughter Robin Christine Perkins. Mrs. Moncrief, was a retired Registered Nurse.

Survivors include a Daughter, Barbara “Bonnie” Birnie of Kutztown, PA, a son Richard Totten of Oceanside, NY, 3 Step-sons, James David Moncrief of Champaign, Il, Michael Edward Moncrief of Hampshire, Illinois, Stephen Randall Moncrief of Chaparral, NM, 6 Grandchildren, and 3 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 6, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home, 1740 East Cedar Avenue, McKenzie, TN, with Reverend Jason Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 6, 2015 from 11:00 AM until service time.
