Ruth N Latch

Ruth N. Latch, age 79, of Tower Court, Topton PA, formerly of Milford Avenue, Kenhorst PA, died Thursday, February 28, 2002 in the Henry Health Care Center of the Lutheran Home at Topton, Topton PA. She was Wife of Richard E. Latch. The couple celebrated their 57th Wedding Anniversary last May.

Born in Allentown PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Norma R. (White) Taroney. She was a Member of the Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, Reading PA. She was a Committee Woman for the Berks County Republican Party during the 1960's. She was an Executive Secretary for BARTA, Reading, for 12 years, retiring in 1988. Prior to that she was Secretary to Earl Patterson, Reading City Council from 1972 - 1976.

She is survived by her Husband; daughters, Robin N. (Latch) Blum of Sinking Spring PA and R. Elizabeth (Latch) Spatz of Reading PA; and 5 Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM Monday, March 4, 2002 in Grace Lutheran Chapel, The Lutheran Home at Topton, 1 South Home Avenue, Topton. Family and Friends may call 9:00 AM in the Chapel. Interment in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
