Ruth M Shaw

Ruth M. Shaw, 85, of South Laurel Street, Kutztown Borough, died Saturday, November 13, 2004, in the Inpatient Hospice Unit of Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. She was the widow of the late William J. Shaw who died January 17, 1974.

Born in Pottsville, PA, she was a daughter of the late John W. and Carrie A. (Wise) Holtzman. She was employed as a church secretary at First Baptist Church, Pottsville for over 15 years; she then worked as a clerk at the former McCrory’s, Kutztown for over 20 years retiring in 1998. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Pottsville.

She is survived by Son, William E. Shaw, Allentown; Daughter, Carolyn L. Shaw, with whom she resided; 2 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services are Wednesday, November 17, 2004, 10:30 AM from Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Interment in Charles Baber Cemetery, Pottsville. Friends may call Wednesday, 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
