Ruth E Dry

Ruth E. (Muth) Dry, 86, of Kutztown, formerly of Mertztown, died Saturday, November 2, 2013 in Kutztown Manor Nursing Home, where she resided since March. She was the widow of James L. Dry who died November 15, 2004.

Born in Lehigh County, she was a daughter of the late Oscar P, Sr. and Mamie L. C. (Reith) Muth. Mrs. Dry was a member of Saint Paul's Lutheran Church, Mertztown. She worked in housekeeping at The Lutheran Home at Topton for over 10 years.

She is survived by Daughter, Sally S. (Dry) wife of Randy Barlet, Mertztown; Sons, James D. husband of Dona M. (Tadayeski) Dry, Alburtis, Robert L. Dry, Reading, Irvin P. husband of Roxanne (Hilbert) Dry, Walnutport and Carl L. Dry, Rehoboth Beach, DE. Other survivors include 3 Grandchildren, Meda E., Andrew S. and Ryan P. She was predeceased by a Daughter, Clara A. Dry in 1947.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment in Longswamp Union Cemetery, Mertztown. There are no public calling hours.
