Russell F Folk

Russell F. Folk, 89, of West Mill Street, Lyon Station, died Tuesday, August 7, 2007 in his residence. He was the husband of the late Dorothy N. (Miller) Folk who died on January 10, 2002.

Born in New Ringgold, PA he was a son of the late George and Elizabeth I. (Reitnauer) Folk. He was a stone crusher operator at Eastern Industries, Kutztown, for 24 years retiring in 1983; prior to that he was employed by East Penn Manufacturing, Lyon Station, for 11 years. He was a member of the Lyons Fire Company.

He is survived by Daughters, Virginia F. (Folk) Schwoyer, Lyon Station, Carol J. (Folk) wife of Mark Gambler, Exeter Township, Donna M. (Folk) wife of Arlan Schwoyer, Lyon Station; Sister, Ruth (Miller) Himmelreich, Oley; Brother, Robert Miller, Lebanon; Grandchildren, Kim L. (Schwoyer) Youse, Jo A. (Schwoyer) Stevens, Peter R. Schwoyer, Tama L. (Gambler) Price, Jill R. (Gambler) Leone, Eric M. Gambler, Michael S. Schwoyer, Tracie L. (Schwoyer) Morgan, Cory Ann (Schwoyer) McKeever; 14 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services are Friday, August 10, 2007 at 10:30 AM in the Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown. Interment in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Fleetwood. Friends may call Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.

The family requests contributions to the American Lung Association of Lehigh County, 2121 City Line Road, Bethlehem, PA 18017-2100. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Kutztown, PA.
