Russell F Dornblaser

Russell F. Dornblaser, 79, of Mertztown, died Sunday, April 10, 2011 in his residence. He was the husband of the late Lorraine P. (DeLong) Dornblaser who died June 30, 2007.

Born in Upper Milford Twp., Lehigh Co., he was a son of the late Robert W. and Sarah E. (Oaks) Dornblaser. He was Lutheran. Russell was employed as a laborer at Tyler Pipe, Co., Macungie for 35 years. Prior to that, he was employed by various foundry companies throughout the area.

He is survived by Step Daughter, Bonnie (Miller) Adams, Reading; Sisters, Shirley A. (Dornblaser) wife of Richard C. Seltzer, Allentown, Anna Mae (Dornblaser) wife of Paul A. Fichter, Barto; Brother, Charles T. Dornblaser, Mertztown. He is also survived by Grandchildren, Sherry L. (Conrad) wife of Charles Rex, and Ralph G., Jr., husband of Tina (Hoffner) Conrad. Russell was predeceased by Step Daughter, Carol L. (Miller) Conrad in 2010, Sister, Betty A. (Dornblaser) Roth, and Brother, Clarence Dornblaser.

Graveside Services are Thursday, April 14, 2011, at 11:00 AM, in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Trexlertown. There is no viewing.
