Ruby A Kells

Ruby A. Kells, 89, of Alburtis, died Monday, November 24, 2008 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, where she was a patient since November 22, 2008. She was the widow of James C. Kells who died in 1994.

Born in Alburtis, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Sallie (Gorr) Schadler. She was a member of Church of the Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, Alburtis. She worked as a bookkeeper at the former Royal Manufacturing, Alburtis. Mrs. Kells was a graduate of Allentown Business School, where she studied Secretarial Science.

She is survived by Daughters, Sue Ann Kells, Harrisburg, Adele K. (Kells) widow of Richard Rynkiewicz, Fort Lauderdale, Fla; Son, James C. husband of Vicki E. (Grove) Kells, Mountain Top, Luzerne County. In addition, there are 3 Grandchildren, Ryanne J. (Rynkiewicz) Hugins, Nathan J. Kells, and Eric C. Kells. There is also a Great Grandson, John Richard Hugins.

Graveside Services are Friday, December 5, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. in Lehigh Zion Cemetery, Alburtis. There is no viewing.

The family requests contributions be made to the Memorial Fund of Church of the Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, 125 Quarry Road, Alburtis, 18011. Arrangements are by the Ludwick Funeral Home, Topton, PA.
